As BT briefly discussed on Twitter, we're having a Stutter Edit Contest! Three (3) winners will receive VIP entry to the Sea To Sun/TLA event in Miami, FL on Wednesday March 23, 2011. The 1st place winner will get an opportunity to remix any song from These Hopeful Machines for a chance to be included in an upcoming box set.
Sea To Sun/Tom Lord-Alge Event Details
The event is graciously hosted by: Sea To Sun Records, Tom Lord-Alge, and Sylvia Tosun. It is a private, super-VIP, OPEN-BAR, fully catered, GETTY/WIREIMAGE-
Doors open at 1pm and party runs til 9pm!
Attendees MUST be 21 with valid photo I.D.
Contest Rules:
- Details: Show BT and others what you have created using the innovative tool Stutter Edit in an audio submission. The sky's the limit, anything audio created with Stutter Edit!
- Deadline: 11:59PM EST on Monday, January 31, 2011
- Entries: Audio submissions ONLY. Upload via the Soundcloud dropbox (we'll have capacity for around 40 tracks, so edit your tracks to be no more than 6 minutes in duration)
- TRACKS MUST BE ENABLED IN YOUR SOUNDCLOUD TO BE SHARED ("WIDGET ENABLED"), BE PUBLIC & NON-DOWNLOADABLE (IF BT MATERIAL)
- WITHIN THE DESCRIPTION OF YOUR TRACK PLEASE SUMMARISE (AS BEST YOU CAN) THE USE OF STUTTER EDIT
- TRACKS ARE USUALLY ADDED TO BTMUSIC.COM WITHIN 24 HOURS DUE TO THIS PROCESS BEING HANDLED IN THE UK BY @SENDANDRETURN
- Voting: Voting will happen until end of Sat Feb 12th.
- Prize:
- (1) Grand prize winner Alalia by Loopsy Dazy will receive VIP entry (winner and +1) to the Sea to Sun/TLA Event in Miami and opportunity to remix any song from These Hopeful Machines for a chance to be included in the upcoming box set. If winner is not 21, they will still have the opportunity to remix a THM song.
- 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive VIP entry (winner +1s) to the Sea to Sun/TLA Event in Miami.
- ALL winners responsible for their own hotel and travel accomodations.
